There is the most advanced “road vacuum cleaner” in Luoyang city in China, a heavy-duty road pollution removal vehicle.
On the 21st, a reporter from Luoyang Daily Media came to Jianxi District City Appearance and Environmental Sanitation Center and saw the city’s first road pollution removal vehicle.
This vehicel is currently the most advanced sanitation cleaning car in the country. It can achieve deep cleaning of road surface dirt，which can be described as a “road vacuum cleaner”. First look at the appearance, this car is larger than an ordinary road sweeper, and the length of the car is nearly 10 meters, which is full of style.
Driver Yang Dongwei introduced that this sanitation vehicle used the most fashionable pure electric new energy power. Every morning, after checking the power, he removed the charging pile connector, filled up with water, and started working on the road.
On Jiudu West Road, the heavy road pollution removal vehicle moved slowly at a speed of about 5 kilometers per hour. The gravel and dirt on the road that the vehicle passed by was immediately absorbed, and the asphalt road was washed like a new road, even the dust in the cracks of the asphalt road was sucked cleanly. The reporter noticed that the road surface cleaned by the heavy road pollution removal vehicle is in sharp contrast with the uncleaned location, and there is a clear boundary.
Why is this car so powerful?
“Traditional road sweepers rely on sweeping to clean the road surface, while the new road pollution removal vehicle uses strong suction to directly strip the pollutants attached to the road.”According to the relevant person in charge of the Jianxi District Sanitation Center, it is equivalent to the difference between a traditional broom and the vacuum cleaner, this car can achieve deep cleaning of urban roads. At present, the road cleaning work on Chang’an Avenue in Beijing is done with this kind of vehicle.
Going forward and taking a closer look, this heavy-duty road pollution removal vehicle is not equipped with the rotating sweeping brush of an ordinary sweeper.
Instead, a suction cup of about 2.5 square meters similar to a vacuum cleaner is installed at the rear of the vehicle. According to reports, this suction cup is the “core” technology of this vehicle. It can use high-efficiency multi-stage composite turbines, ultra-clean vacuum recovery and water injection technologies to achieve complete absorption of various pollutants on the road surface and crevices. Remove the dirt, oil and harmful substances in road cracks that solidify on the road surface.
“We have tested repeatedly in the past few days. After the cleaning operation of this car, we wiped it with our hands on the road,there was almost no ash on our hands!” .Yang Dongwei said that this cleaning ability was not achievable by traditional sanitation machines and manual cleaning vehicles.
According to the relevant person in charge of the Jianxi District Environmental Sanitation Center, they purchased the sole heavy-duty road pollution removal vehicle in the city through a tender in early February. In the next step, the vehicle will be mainly used for road cleaning in key sections of Jianxi and surrounding construction sites with high operational requirements.
